The Lunch and Lecture Series

The Lunch and Lecture Series will invite Scholars to attend named lectureships hosted by Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences Departments in areas of their interest. Faculty members from the Department will have lunch with our group to discuss the contributions of the lecturer. Journal articles will be selected for in-depth review and discussion, and related work ongoing at JHUSOM will be described for the physician-scientists. The group will then attend the lecture.

The Directed Discussion Series

The Directed Discussion Series will invite Scholars to discussions with Professors and Directors of Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences Departments and Centers. Faculty will set discussion topic(s) and provide reading material in advance. These may include reviewing scientific advances where physician-scientists may be uniquely positioned to contribute, or discussing other trending fields.
